| Description | In its first phase the project will map the information collected by the agricultural sector, both on a central level on the farm, and on a decentralized level on the consulting centres and other nationwide databases. Once this information has been mapped, the task is to determine how to gather the information in one database for a total overview of the productive conditions of the farm.
The various variable factors of significance to the production in cattle farming are to be analysed, and models will be created for handling these in an interactive consulting session between the farmer and the consultant. This will be carried out by exchanging information in the shape of both text, audio and video.
The purpose is to streamline the flow of information available today on a productive farm, and to make it easily accessible to both the farmer and the consultant, enabling them to keep the entire production optimised at all times - for the benefit of both the farmer and society. The tasks, to mention a couple, are to enable an interaction between farmers and consultants, and to have them learn how to make use of the new counselling methods deriving from this project. |
