| Description | The Aalborg Region Collaboration is an collaboration concerning the industrial conditions in general in the region and includes the 12 municipalities of: Brovst, Dronninglund, Fjerritslev, Hals, Løgstør, Nibe, Pandrup, Sejlflod, Skørping, Støvring, Aabybro, and Aalborg.
All the business consultancy offices are taking an active part in the project.

E-Business in the project comprises the electronic exchange of information and is directed towards retail companies and manufacturing enterprises etc. The project will be adjusted to the companies participating.

The Aalborg Region collaboration project is divided into two main phases:
The first phase of the project is expected to begin in mid February 2001.
Phase1:
A massive E-Business campaign with information to all companies. The knowledge and experience existing already will be presented, and the knowledge and experience gained in the projects completed during phase 2 will be passed on to the companies involved. In phase 1 discussion groups will be established in the entire region.
The goal of the first phase is to have several companies in the Aalborg Region initiating a course of development towards the use of E-Business either by participating in experience exchanging groups, or by attending the growth groups that will be making up phase 2 in the project.
The project phase 1 is directed towards all companies offering information on E-Business.
Phase 2:
Developing courses for companies wanting to make use of E-Business.
The project will guide the companies towards establishing their own strategy and knowledge of the re-organisation required for introducing E-Business (a growth group course). The object is to make several companies establish an E-Business solution.
The project phase 2 is directed primarily towards small and medium sized companies.
The goal of the entire project is to put a focus on e-business by means of information, establishing experience exchanging groups and growth groups for both public and private companies, thereby creating reference models as a basis for companies in the collaboration of the Aalborg Region /the county of North Denmark to decide on introducing E-Business solutions on a safe basis.
