| Description | In collaboration with co-investors Aalborg Port Ltd. will establish the company Eurotrans-north A/S. This company will be operating the www.eurotransnorth.com Internet Portal.
Idea and Vision
To develop the transport industry and its players in Aalborg/North Denmark into an IT Lighthouse and create an international centre for all types of transport and goods to and from Northern Europe, and to create a platform for the company in order to operate as an international provider of transport/broker and e-market place.
The enterprises prevailing on the market for goods will be those with the capability of communicating most efficiently and dealing with complete transport solutions and services, and in doing so being able offer added value.
Mission
The aim is to meet the soaring requirements for increased efficiency and to obtain a simplification of the entire transport industry via the development and operation of electronic on line Web systems for communication and transaction with an emphasis on a transport portal and an e-market centred in Aalborg with a geographical extension to Northern Europe – www.eurotransnorth.com.
Concept, Media and Solution
The Market is in demand of a simple and direct transport solution – a complete solution – following the principle of end to end in depth and door to door in width. All of this is to be electronically executed via the Internet. The entire paper flow including forms, certificates, and correspondence will happen on line. Functioning in an international environment the concept will be putting steep demands on all the electronic functions and features, facilities and tools.
The media and channels are those of Internet/www.
The solution is a combined portal and market place.
