| Description | The object of this project is to further the use of IT in the small and medium-sized enterprises of the VUR-municipalities via councelling and training. Councelling will be performed primarily by two IT consultants appointed for the duration of the project, however, external consultants will be involved in the councelling tasks.
Adding to this a variety of competence networks will be built for the companies to share experience in using IT and to receive specific IT knowledge on the individual fields.
Also a wide range of seminars, lectures, workshops and exhibitions on selected IT themes will be held.
Based on a demand analysis in each company the companies' need for a boost in competitiveness will be detected. The training schedules of each company will be summarized in a joint educational programme offered to the companies.
Adding to this the companies' involvement in these newly established competence networks will contribute to the detection of the need for an innovative development of the IT-courses and educations related to the industrial sector.
The partner in education, the EUC Nord will work on this continuously and use it as a basis for offering new courses. This way the EUC Nord contributes to the project on an ongoing basis with the aim of developing goal oriented educational offers for the participating enterprises.
The competence networks also have the goal of establishing a communications network for interconnecting the companies in each network and in turn interconnecting the individual competence networks.
The competence networks are intended as an attempt to create a permanent way of competence building. Another goal for these networks is to provide a potential for the enterprises to bid on orders in joint ventures. This way the networks are to enhance the competitive power of the enterprises on an individual and a joint venture basis. |
