| Description | The general purpose of the project is to develop a web based platform to enhance the network building and co-operative relations among the member enterprises of the region. The Digital Chamber of Commerce will be a web based tool which will contribute to furthering the possibilitites of the enterprises to exchange and gain access to important information in a wide range of vital areas, all with the intention of enhancing the competitiveness of the enterprises. Furthermore the Digital Chamber of Commerce is intended as a marketplace offering an increased opportunity for local enterprises to exhibit their items and services, and, not least, to join in networks and bid for larger orders
The foundation of the project is the Aalborg Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the largest local industrial society of Denmark, boasting over 569 years of experience in network collaboration. Today the Aalborg Chamber of Commerce & Industry counts approx. 800 members and is represented in approx 40 boards, committees and councils within the region.
The specific contents of the Digital Chamber of Commerce will be developed in a close cooperation with the member enterprises/users. The object of establishing the Digital Chamber of Commerce is to provide the enterprises with:
1.An enhanced opportunity to find new regional partners in cooperation and business
2.Making the competences of the enterprises visible
3.An enhanced opportunity to participate in national and international activities and projects
4.A quicker access to other relevant information and councelling
5.Significant reductions of the time and financial resources spent on tenders and market research
6.An enhanced collaboration among all types of enterprises, industrial societies, industries and chambers of commerce of North Denmark
7.Easier contact and information to the industrial projects from the Aalborg University and other educational institutions of North Denmark. |
